Work Procedure
CAUTION:
- Perform "Valve Timing Offset Data Clear" first. Refer to Description .
- When information of two-dimentional code can not read, perform "Valve Timing Offset Data Clear" only.
- When replacing engine, remove old 2 dementional code label and paste only new label in case of reusing intake manifold.
- PERFORM VALVE TIMING OFFSET DATA WRITING
With CONSUL
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Perform Valve timing offset data clear. Refer to Work Procedure .
- Select "VALVE TIMING OFFSET DATA WRITING" in "WORK SUPPORT" of "ENGINE" using CONSULT.
- Input 2 dimensional code
pasted on engine with following directions shown on CONSULT screen.
NOTE: 2 dementional code label is pasted on electric throttle control actuator. (the pasted location may be different depending on replacing history) - Turn ignition switch OFF and wait for 60 seconds.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Perform self-diagnosis and check that DTC P100C is not displayed.
