Work Procedure

BEFORE REPLACEMENT

When replacing BCM, save or print current vehicle specification with CONSULT configuration before replacement.

NOTE:

If "Before Replace ECU" cannot be used, use the "After Replace ECU" or "Manual Configuration" after replacing BCM.

AFTER REPLACEMENT

CAUTION:

When replacing BCM, you must perform "After Replace ECU" with CONSULT.
- Complete the procedure of "After Replace ECU" in order.
- If you set incorrect "After Replace ECU", incidents might occur.
- Configuration is different for each vehicle model. Confirm configuration of each vehicle model.
When replacing BCM, perform the system initialization (NATS).

Work Procedure

SAVING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION (BCM)
1. CONSULT Perform "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" to save or print current vehicle specification. Refer to Work Procedure .
  NOTE: If "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" cannot be used, use the "Manual Configuration" after replacing BCM.

SAVING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION (CAN GATEWAY)
1. CONSULT Perform "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" to save or print current vehicle specification. Refer to Work Procedure .
  NOTE: If "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" cannot be used, use the "Manual Configuration" after replacing BCM.

SAVING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION (TPMS)
1. CONSULT Perform "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" to save or print current vehicle specification.
  NOTE: If "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" cannot be used, use the "Manual Configuration" after replacing BCM.

REPLACE BCM
1. Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

GO TO 5.
WRITING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION (BCM)
1. CONSULT Perform "After Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" or "Manual Configuration" to write vehicle specification. Refer to Work Procedure .

GO TO 6.
REGISTER INTELLIGENT KEYS
1. CONSULT For initialization and registration of Intelligent Keys, refer to CONSULT Immobilizer mode and follow the on-screen instructions.

GO TO 7.
WRITING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION (TPMS)
1. CONSULT Perform "After Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" or "Manual Configuration" to write vehicle specification. Refer to Work Procedure .

WRITING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION (CAN GATEWAY)
1. CONSULT: Perform "After Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" or "Manual Configuration" to write vehicle specification. (3CH CAN Gateway) Work Procedure (6CH CAN Gateway) Work Procedure

INITIALIZE TPMS
1. Perform Tire pressure sensor ID registration. Refer to Work Procedure .
