Confirmation Procedure

  1. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE 1 

    SYMBOL CONSULT

    1. Power switch ON.
    2. Operate electric shift selector to change shift position to P, and wait 1 second or more.
    3. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "BCM".

    Is DTC detected?

    YES>>

    Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure .

    NO>>

    GO TO 2.

  2. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE 2 

    SYMBOL CONSULT

    1. Operate electric shift selector to change shift position to any position other than P, and wait 1 second or more.
    2. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "BCM".

    Is DTC detected?

    YES>>

    Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure .

    NO>>

    Inspection End.
