Component Inspection

1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect CVT shift selector (detent switch) connector.
   3. Check continuity between CVT shift selector (detent switch) terminals.

      CVT shift selector (detent switch)		Condition		Continuity
      Terminals
      7	8	Selector lever: P position	Selector button: Released	No
      			Selector button: Pressed	Yes
      		Selector lever: Except P position

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Inspection End.

NO>>

Replace CVT shift selector (detent switch). Refer to Removal and Installation .
