Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK DRIVE MODE SELECTOR SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT
- Ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect drive mode selector switch harness connector.
- Disconnect BCM harness connector.
- Check the continuity between drive mode selector switch harness connector and BCM harness connector.
Drive mode selector switch BCM Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M94 2 M11 29 Existed 3 28 - Also check harness for short to ground and to power.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 2.
NO>>
Repair or replace error-detected parts.
- CHECK DRIVE MODE SELECTOR SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check the continuity between drive mode selector switch harness connector and ground.
Drive mode selector switch - Continuity Connector Terminal M94 1 Ground Existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 3.
NO>>
Repair or replace error-detected parts.
- CHECK DRIVE MODE SELECTOR SWITCH
Check drive mode selector switch. Refer to Component Inspection . Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
INSPECTION END
NO>>
Replace drive mode selector switch.
