Removal and Installation
CAUTION:
- Perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING ECM". Refer to Description .
- When replacing the ECM, a new ECM must be used. The functions controlled by the ECM do not operate properly if an ECM from another vehicle is used.
REMOVAL
- Remove negative battery terminal. Refer to Exploded View .
- Disconnect the harness connectors from ECM.
- Remove nuts (A), and then remove ECM (1).
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

- Perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING ECM". Refer to Description
- Perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REMOVING BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL". Refer to Special Repair Requirement .
