Removal and Installation

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery Disconnect .
  2. Remove front wheel and tire (LH) using power tool. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  3. Partially remove front fender protector (LH). Refer to Exploded View .
  4. Disconnect electric intake valve timing control module harness connector. Refer to Harness Connector (lever locking type).
  5. Remove electric intake valve timing control module.

INSTALLATION 

CAUTION:

Perform "ELECTRIC IVT CONTROL ACTUATOR POSITION LEARNING". Refer to Description .

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
