Engine Code Location

Engine Code is stamped on right side of engine block, directly to rear of distributor on all 6-cylinder engines, V8 engines are identified by a code tape, installed directly above engine unit number, which is stamped on engine oil fill tube.

250" 6-Cyl. 1-Bbl. CCC, CCD, CCA, CCB
350" V8 2-Bbl. QQ, QP, QS, QT, QN, QO
350" V8 4-Bbl. QA, QB, QD, QE, QJ QC, QU, QL, QK, QV
455" V8 4-Bbl. UD, UA, UB, US UT, UU, UV
