GASOLINES MARKETED AND ADVERTISED TO KEEP PORT FUEL INJECTORS CLEAN ALL MODELS WITH PORT FUEL INJECTORS (Section No. 6C)

As a reminder and to ensure that GM customers have sufficient flexibility in selecting gasolines for their vehicles with port fuel injected engines, please urge your customers to purchase gasolines marketed and advertised to keep port fuel injection clean (see December 1986 Service Guild, page 25).

Also, please disregard the earlier list of gasoline brands published in the September 1986 Service Guild, page 2 because it is incomplete now that all major brands as well as many independent brands, appear to be treated with detergent additives.
