Cruise Control: Adjustments

There are NO provision for adjusting cruise speed on these models. Speed control is handled by the ECM or Cruise Control Module depending on application.

If vehicle speed does not match cruise setting, check for vacuum leaks or restrictions. Also check for incorrect application of speed sensors or incorrect tire sizes.

If the vehicle speed is being held to high, verify that engine speed control motors are functioning properly and that cables or throttle levers are not binding or holding open.
