Chart E3 Valve Cycling During Normal Stops

  1. This chart should be used as indicated by FUNCTIONING CHECK chart. If valve is heard cycling during normal braking, possible cause is an erroneous wheel sensor signal.
  2. Low wheel sensor signal can be mistaken by EBCM, as wheel lock-up. EBCM will then engage ABS and signal valve to reduce pressure to wheels. This condition can occur without EBCM setting a trouble code.
