Entering BCM Data Display

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood and 1990 Cadillac DeVille. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. With ".7.0" displayed on the FDC, (to cause ".7.0" to be displayed on the FDC, see INTRODUCTION TO DIAGNOSTIC TESTING  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTING), depress and release OUTSIDE TEMP button on ECC panel. BCM data series begins as display switches from ".7.0" to "F.8.0".
  2. To advance display, depress HI button on ECC panel. To return to a lower numbered display or jump directly from "F.8.0" to the end of the display list, "P.3.1", depress LO button on ECC panel.
  3. When BCM data display is first initiated, code "P.2.0-P.3.1" will be displayed for one second on FDC, followed by a 9 second display of a numerical value which represents the parameter value. Each code and value will be repeated until manually advanced to next code. See BCM DATA PARAMETERS table for list of BCM data parameters.
