Power Adjuster Assembly: Reassembly

  1. Install front vertical gearnut (50). See Figure .
  2. Install rear vertical gearnut (52).
  3. Install gearnut screws (56).
  4. Install adjuster horizontal actuator (44).
  5. Install screws (43) to adjuster horizontal actuator (44).
  6. Install front vertical gearnut nut (54).
  7. Install vertical assist spring (51).
  8. Install rear vertical gearnut nut (55). Place power adjuster (45) in a bench vise.Carefully compress the vertical assist spring (51), and install the rear vertical gearnut nut (55). Remove power adjuster (45) from the bench vise.
