Door Windows: Installation

Install window glass (94) to window sash (92). See Fig 1 for window glass and Fig 2 for window sash.
- Install window glass (94) front end first.
- Engage rear edge of window glass (94) to rear run channel.
Install front window forward run channel retainer, if installing front window.
Install front window forward run channel retainer screw, if installing front window. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Install rivets (96).
WARNING: When activated, the power window switch may lock into the express down mode causing the window to lower fully without stopping even though the switch has been released. Failure to exercise caution around the regulator assembly when operating the switch may result in personal injury and regulator damage.
- Run window regulator to position sash for rivet (96) installation.
- Install window glass (94) if top edge is not parallel to top front window run channel.
- Loosen window regulator cam assembly screws (99).
- Raise the window glass (94) to full upward position.
- Push up or down, as necessary, on rear of window regulator cam assembly (100 or 102) and secure with screws (99). See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Reposition water deflector. See WATER DEFLECTOR .
Install door trim panel. See TRIM PANEL .
