Window Regulator: Installation

  1. Install window regulator assembly.
  2. Install rivets (97) securing window regulator (98 or 101) to door panel. See Figure for front doors or Figure for rear doors.
    • Secure upper rearmost, center rearmost, center foremost, then lower rearmost.
  3. Install electrical connection.
  4. Install screws (99) securing window regulator cam assembly (100 or 102) to door inner panel. Tighten screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Install rivets (96) connecting window sash (92) to regulator sash (95). See Figure .
  6. Install door latch module assembly.
    • Remove cloth-backed tape.
    • Inspect window regulator (98 or 101) operation.
    • Inspect window glass (94) alignment.
  7. Install water deflector. See WATER DEFLECTOR  .
  8. Install door trim panel. See TRIM PANEL  .
