Note On INTERMITTENTS

If an intermittent Code B112 is being set, check Code B112 snap data value for low side temperature, BD28 display. If BD28 display value is less than -36°F (-38°C), code was caused by an open in circuit No. 731 or 736 or low side temperature sensor. If BD28 value is greater than 201°F (94°C), code resulted from a short to ground on circuit No. 731 or a shorted low side temperature sensor. Manipulate related wiring while observing BD28 display. If failure is induced, reading will jump from its normal value to a reading outside range of -22°F to 363°F (-30°C to 184°C).

If BD28 value is not reasonably close to corresponding gauge pressure reading, check for poor terminal contact or replace sensor.
