Cruise Control: Testing and Inspection

1. Check vacuum hoses for leaks, kinks or restrictions.

2. Check that Cruise Control Servo Linkage at Throttle Body is not binding or too loose.

Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check (see "Diagnostic Aids").

Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (see "Diagnostic Aids").
