Front Height Will Not Go Up Or Down

  1. Turn ignition off. Using test light, backprobe between Dark Green wire terminal at inoperative power seat switch and ground. Move power seat front height switch to up position. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, replace inoperative power seat switch.
  2. Backprobe between Dark Blue wire terminal at inoperative power seat switch and ground. Move power seat front height switch to down position. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, replace inoperative power seat switch.
  3. Disconnect inoperative power seat motor connector. Connect test light between Dark Green wire at inoperative power seat motor harness and ground. Move power seat front height switch to up position. If test light glows, go to next step. If test light does not glow, repair open in Dark Green wire between inoperative power seat switch and power seat motor.
  4. Connect test light between Dark Blue wire at inoperative power seat motor harness and ground. Move power seat front height switch to down position. If test light glows, replace front height motor. If test light does not glow, repair open in Dark Blue wire between inoperative power seat switch and power seat motor.
