Preliminary Inspection

  1. Check I/P fuse No. 1 of right rear junction block located under right side of rear passenger seat. If fuse is open, locate and repair short in Orange wire circuit. Replace fuse.
  2. Check all related wiring harnesses and connectors. Check for poor ground connection at ground connector located under left side of rear passenger seat.
  3. Check for proper operation and installation of aftermarket equipment (if equipped) which may affect other systems.
  4. Perform functional test of door locks, power door lock switches, Random Access Power (RAP), trunk lid and interior lamp illumination. If problems exist in any of these systems, repair as necessary.
  5. Perform RFA SYSTEM CHECK. If RFA does not operate or operate a function when depressed, go to appropriate symptom test.
