Preliminary Checks: Notes

  1. If no seat functions operate, check POWER SEAT circuit breaker (25-amp) located in left instrument panel bussed electrical center. Ensure ground connections are clean and tight. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment.
  2. If rear or front vertical function is inoperative, but entire seat moves up and down, replace power seat switch. If entire seat does not move up and down, but rear and front vertical functions operate properly, replace power seat switch.
  3. Check for broken or partially broken wire inside of insulation, which could cause system malfunction but prove good in a continuity/voltage check with system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded.
