Steering Wheel And Steering Column: Overhaul: Notes

CAUTION: DO NOT strike steering shaft with hammer to remove steering wheel. Hammering could loosen the plastic injections maintaining column rigidity.

NOTE: Use exploded view illustrations for overhaul of steering column assembly. See Figure or Figure . Perform overhaul procedure with steering column removed from vehicle, and with steering wheel and upper and lower cover removed.
