Test F: Power Windows Lockout Function Is Inoperative

  1. Disconnect left front window switch harness connector. Using a test light, backprobe between left front window switch harness connector C2, terminal A and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  2. If test light illuminates, go to step  4 . If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
  3. Replace left front power window switch. See WINDOW SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repair is complete, go to POWER WINDOWS SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
  4. Repair short to battery voltage in circuit 1307. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . After repair is complete, go to POWER WINDOWS SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
