Checking For Vacuum Loss (Loaded Condition)

- Start the engine.
- Depress the brake pedal with a force of 44 foot pounds (196 N.m).
- With the brake pedal held depressed, stop the engine when the vacuum gauge indicates 19.7 in. Hg. (66.7 kPa).
- Observe the vacuum gauge for 15 seconds. If the gauge indicates 18.8-19.6 in. Hg. (63.4-66.6 kPa), the unit is operating.
