July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the steering gear heat shield.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the steering gear heat shield bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the steering gear heat shield bolts to 14 N.m (124 lb ft).

  3. If the vehicle is equipped with all wheel drive, install the right side engine splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT - ENGINE  in Body Front End.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
