Preliminary Test Procedures

Ignition Secondary Checks and Coil Resistance Checks are basic system tests, required whenever ignition problems are suspected. For these tests, refer to GENERAL SYSTEM CHECKS in this manual. Check for hard codes which may be set in the computer. If any codes are set they must be checked and/or corrected prior to the following testing procedures.
