Column Jacket

Inspect jacket section of column for looseness, bends, collapsed mesh or bellows section. With General Motor's models, check for mast jacket collapse by measuring the distance from edge of the back-up switch window to the lower edge of upper jacket. See Figure for proper dimensions.
