Mixture Control Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

Carburetor Components:

To test the Feedback Solenoid Valve, located in the float bowl of the carburetor, proceed as follows.

Feedback And Slow Cut Solenoid Valve Connector:

1. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (connector M-21).
2. Apply battery voltage (approximately 12 Volts) between terminals 3 and 6 on the FBSV.

3. If the solenoid valve does not actuate with an audible click, replace the solenoid.
