Window Channel Test

The window must slide freely in glass channels or tubes and tracks for power window motors to operate properly. Disconnect window from regulator and move window up and down by hand to determine if it slides freely.

With window in up or down stop position, move glass slightly from side to side, front to rear and up and down. If glass moves in any direction, it is loose in tracks. Repair as required.
