Window Lift Motor Test
Remove door trim panel for access to motor. See SWITCH & DOOR TRIM PANEL R & I . Connect positive and negative leads from a test battery to window lift motor terminals. See Fig 1 . The motor should operate in one direction. Reverse current through same terminals and motor should operate in opposite direction. If window does not move, remove motor and inspect gear and pinion.
