Trunk Release
When the TRUNK RELEASE button is pressed on the transmitter and the keyless entry module receives a signal with a valid VAC, the keyless entry module will supply battery voltage at terminal "H". See Fig 1 . See WIRING DIAGRAMS . This battery voltage is then applied to the trunk release solenoid. The release solenoid is energized and the trunk lid can be opened. If the ignition switch is ON, and the transaxle position switch is not in Park, battery voltage is not supplied to keyless entry module terminal "D" and the trunk lid will not open.
