MODELS AFFECTED 1991 PONTIAC LEMANS


TO: ALL PONTIAC DEALERS

General Motors has determined that a small number of 1991 Pontiac LeMans vehicles were incorrectly distributed. Some vehicles equipped with California emission systems were distributed in states other than California. This condition could cause noncompliance with Federal emission requirements.

To correct this condition, dealers are to install a new MEM-CAL (PROM) and emission label on involved vehicles to convert the emission systems to the correct type.
