Exhaust Gas Recirculation: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the three vacuum hoses from the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) back pressure transducer.
2. Remove the EGR back pressure transducer from the retaining clips.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the EGR back pressure transducer to the retaining clips.
2. Connect the vacuum hose from the EGR bypass valve to port Q of the EGR back pressure transducer.
3. Connect the vacuum hose from the EGR solenoid vacuum valve to port P of the EGR back pressure transducer.
4. Connect the exhaust port hose to the bottom port of the EGR back pressure transducer.
