System Operation Check

If system is functioning normally, AIR BAG warning light will flash 7 times and then turn off after ignition is first turned on. System malfunction is indicated when AIR BAG warning light does not illuminate at all, AIR BAG warning light comes on while vehicle is driven, AIR BAG warning light flashes 7 times and remains on, or AIR BAG warning light does not flash but remains on when ignition is turned on.
