Fluid Temperature Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the case side cover.





2. Use a small flat-bladed tool in order to remove the wiring harness from the solenoid valve(s) (315A, 315B, 322, 334 and/or 440), TFP manual valve position switch (395) and/or the temperature sensor (391).





3. Remove the wiring harness (224).

Installation Procedure





1. Connect the wiring harness (224).





2. Install the wiring harness to the solenoid valve(s) (31 5A, 31 5B, 322, 334 and/or 440), TFP manual valve position switch (395) and/or the temperature sensor (391).
3. Install the case side cover.

Notice: Do NOT overfill the transaxle. The overfilling of the transaxle causes foaming, loss of fluid, shift complaints, and possible damage to the transaxle.

4. Fill the transaxle to the proper level.
5. Inspect the transaxle fluid level.
6. Inspect for fluid leaks.
