Installation Procedure

  1. Install the run channel weather-strip (3) to the front door window.
  2. Install the push-in retainer (2) at the top of the channel.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the channel lower bolt (4).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the front door window front run channel lower bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the front door rear view mirror. Refer to MIRROR REPLACEMENT  .
  5. Install the front door window. Refer to WINDOW REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  6. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  7. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR (OLDSMOBILE)  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR (PONTIAC)  .
