Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Sunfire and 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Install the bulbs to the sockets (1).
- Install the bulbs/sockets (1) to the HVAC control lamp.
- Install the HVAC control lamp to the I/PNOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the screws to the HVAC control lamp.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
- Perform the following:
- On Chevrolet install the I/P cluster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Chevrolet) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- On Pontiac install the I/P accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory (Pontiac) or Trim Plate Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Accessory (Chevrolet) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
