Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

    IMPORTANT: Make sure that the ignition coil seals are properly seated to the valve cover.
  1. Install the ignition coil (1).

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the ignition coil retaining bolts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the ignition coil retaining bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Replace the ignition coil connectors (1).
  5. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
