Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and 2004 Chevrolet Impala. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the emergency vehicle interior switch through the back of the headlamp switch assembly by pressing the switch into place until fully seated.

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the emergency vehicle interior switch.

  5. Install the headlamp switch assembly to the I/P.
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Install the headlamp switch assembly screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  9. Install the trim plate bezel. Refer to Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Impala) or Trim Plate Bezel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster (Monte Carlo) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
