Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
    2. Fig 1: View Of Theft Deterrent Module & Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder

  2. Disengage the retainers (1,2) from the theft deterrent reader/exciter module.

    Remove the theft deterrent module (3) from the lock cylinder housing.
