Removal Procedure

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE .
Disconnect the positive battery cable.

Remove the battery hold down retainer bolt and retainer.
Remove the battery.
