Installation Procedure

- Install the lock pillar retainer.
Tighten
Tighten the lock pillar weatherstrip retainer screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
- Apply a 6 mm (0.25 in) x 100 mm (4 in) bead of sealer across the lower edge of the retainer and onto the lock pillar.
- Install the weatherstrip. Refer to WEATHERSTRIP SIDE RETAINER REPLACEMENT (COUPE AND CONVERTIBLE) or WEATHERSTRIP REPLACEMENT (HARDTOP) in Stationary Windows.
