Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the brake pedal position sensor to the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the brake pedal position sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Connect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector.
  5. Install the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Knee Bolster in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
