Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and 2004 Chevrolet Impala. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. If removed, install the IAT sensor (1).
  2. Install the air cleaner intake duct to the MAF sensor (7).
  3. Install the air cleaner intake duct to the throttle body and the air cleaner assembly.
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the air cleaner intake duct clamps (2,6).

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamps to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  6. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector (5).
  7. Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector (3).
  8. Install the PCV tube (4) to the air cleaner intake duct.
