Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the brake pressure modulator assembly (2) to the bracket (3). Secure with 2 nuts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the brake modulator assembly nuts to 8.5 N.m (75 lb in).

  2. Remove the plugs from brake pipes and connect the brake pipes to the brake modulator assembly (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the brake pipe fittings nuts to 9.5 N.m (84 lb in).

  3. Connect the EBCM electrical connector (4).
  4. Bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding in Hydraulic Brakes.
  5. Perform Diagnostic System Check - ABS .
