Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the AIR pump assembly to the vehicle and secure with 3 fasteners (1, 2, 7).

    Tighten:  Tighten the 3 fasteners to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

  2. Connect the AIR pump discharge hose (6).
  3. Connect the AIR pump relay electrical connector (4).
  4. Connect the AIR pump electrical connector (5).
  5. Connect the electrical ground strap (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the ground strap fastener to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

  6. Swing the stone shield (1) up and secure with the retaining pin.
  7. Install the 2 bolts that secure the stone shield (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the 2 shield bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  8. Lower the vehicle.
