Installation Procedure

  1. Position the hood latch support to the upper and lower tie bar.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the to the hood latch support to upper tie bar bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the hood latch support upper tie bar bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the hood latch support to lower tie bar nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the hood latch support to lower tie bar nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the front bumper fascia upper support bolts to the hood latch support.

    Tighten:  Tighten the front bumper fascia upper support bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the hood latch to the hood latch support Refer to Hood Latch Replacement .
