Installation Procedure

Install the hood to the vehicle with an assistant.
Align the hood hinges to the alignment marks on the hood.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the bolts to the upper hood hinge, with an assistant.
Tighten: Tighten the upper hood hinge bolts to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

Install the assist rods to the hood. Refer to Assist Rod Replacement - Hood .
Adjust the hood. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
