Removal Procedure

Remove the overhead console. Refer to Console Replacement - Overhead .
Remove the sunshade anchors. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement .
Lower the headliner at the sunroof opening.
Remove the foam tape from the electrical harness on the console retainer (2).
Reposition the electrical harness away from the retainer.
Slide the retainer forward and remove the retainer from the front of the headliner.
Remove the remote compass sensor.
