Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26 and L32) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (LS4) .
    2. Fig 1: Left Knock Sensor Electrical Connector

  2. Disconnect the knock sensor electrical connector.

  3. Remove the knock sensor bolt.
  4. Remove the knock sensor.
