Preliminary Procedure
- Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling
.
- Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement
.
- Remove ignition lock cylinder.

Module Assembly, Theft Deterrent
Procedure:
- Disconnect electrical connectors.
- Program the theft deterrent control module after replacement. Refer to Control Module References
